Craobh Gin is distilled using water that flows from natural mineral springs within the majestic Scottish Mountains. Sourced from the pristine environment of Cairngorms National Park, a protected area renowned for its outstanding natural beauty, this water boasts exceptional purity due to the unique geology and terroir of the region.
Annually, over a billion litres of rainfall nourish the land around these springs. This water then spends approximately 50 years gently filtering through layers of underground rock, naturally emerging at artesian springs under its own pressure. This sustainable source forms part of the local water cycle.
Historically renowned, these springs have a rich heritage, celebrated over centuries by health-seekers, including many notable figures, for their wellness-promoting qualities. The water used in Craobh Gin is uniquely distinguished by its exceptionally low mineral content, low pH, low redox potential, and small molecular cluster size. Our Clementine Gin takes everything we love about our original Scottish Dry and gives it a vibrant citrus twist. Using the same twelve carefully balanced botanicals as a base, we infuse this expression with oil from the skin of the clementine, delivering a burst of bright, zesty flavour.
